Easy Eye Tutorial

Hi everyone :)

Last night I had a couple of friends over to my house for a chinese, drinks and a natter.
I didn't want my make up too flashy but I did want to play around beforehand.
I decided to go with this easy eye look, which could be dressed up with different colours for going out with.

Here's what I used:
Products:
Eyes
Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden
MUA Eyeshadow - Shade 1- Pearl
FCUK Palette - 16th Colour (Dark Brown)
NYX Jumbo Pencil - Milk
FCUK Palette- 1st colour (Cream)
BeautyUK Palette - 6 - Black Shadow
Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara
MAC Studio Fix Powder

Face
Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum
Benefit Foundation Stick
Urban Decay Blusher in Fetish

Lips
Revlon Just Bitten in Frenzy
Bourjois Effet 3D in 29

Brushes
Mac 217
Urban Decay Eyeshadow brush
MAC 266
Avon Powder Brush

As usual, start off by priming your eyes, making sure to take it all the way up to the brow bone because I also like to use as a concealer for my lids.
Remember that a little goes along way!
Using my MAC 217, apply MUA Shade 1 all over the lid.
Taking an angled eyeshadow brush, use the 16th colour in the FCUK Palette (sorry they have no names!) and apply this to the outer corner, blending into the crease.

Apply Milk under the eyebrow:
Blend out with your finger, making sure you blend with the brown FCUK colour. Use a eyeshadow brush and apply the cream FCUK colour over this.

Take an angled brush and starting from the middle of your lid, create a flick and bring it quite a way out and then down to the outer corner of your eye. Take it slowly, there's no rush.

Add NYX Milk on the waterline and apply on the black onto the bottom lid, making sure to be thinner towards the middle.
Put on your mascara, and false lashes if you wish.

Finish off by applying your choice of foundation, concealer and powder.
I'm putting Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain on my lips, with Bourjois lipgloss on top.

Finished look:

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial!

A Casual Look -How To Change It For A Night Out

Hi everyone :)

Today I thought I'd create a casual look for you all, and then show how you can change it up for the night if you are in a rush or have no time to go home and change your makeup.

Okay, let's go!

First start off by priming your eyes, I'm using Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden. I'm a MAC 217 applying Urban Decay Sidecar all over my lid. I'm now taking my Spoilt Rotten Eye Smudger Brush and applying Urban Decay Virgin in the inner corner and under the brow.
You then want to apply eyeliner to your top lid and to your waterline, I'm using Rimmel Glam Eyes Liquid Liner in 001 Black Glamour on the top lid and Rimmel Exaggerate Eye Definer in 261 Noir in the waterline and then add your mascara - I'm using Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara in Jet Black.

Apply your foundation, I'm using Chanel Vitalumiere in 10 Limpide, concealer and powder.

For the night time:

Keeping with exactly everything you have applied previously, you just need to add now!
Start off by adding Urban Decay Darkhorse to the outer corners to give your eyes some depth, and blend that up towards the eyebrow and also in the crease. Apply more Sidecar and blend that into the crease too. Reapply Virgin to the innercorner and under the eyebrow and also take it onto the bottom lid. Reapply your eyeliner on the top lid and in the waterline and add more mascara.
Apply NARS Orgasm blusher. I'm now adding Wet N Wild Lipstick in E81510 with Barry M Lipgloss in 5.
And there you go. A Day-To-Night look.

Use whatever products you like or have. I'm a firm believer that you shouldn't run out and buy something just because someone tells you to. I'm pretty sure you'll have something similar to the colour already in your makeup stash, and if you don't, then by all means go and get it!

I also think this would look great with maybe a brighter eye and a neutral lip, but anything would look great!
Have fun, and I hope you enjoyed this!

Funky Pink and Purple Eye Makeup Tutorial

Hii :)
I decided to post up a tutorial for a look I was thinking of doing using my new products from the Glossybox I got today. Read my review of it here.

These are the products I used:
But you can use anything you fancy, or atleast have had hand.

Okay, so let's get started!
You want to start off by priming your lid, I'm using Urban Decay Primer Potion (that I got with my NAKED palette), but you use whatever you like best. I placed a little of this on each lid, and blend with my ring finger.
I then took my NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk, placing it all over the lid as my shadow base.
I also put it under my eyebrows and also in my tearduct, to brighten up my eyes, again blending with my ring finger.

Taking an eyeshadow brush (I used one from Avon), I picked up the pink eyeshadow from the Blink+Go palette and placed it in the middle of my lids.

Using the other side of the brush, I picked up the purple eyshadow from the palette and appled to the outer corners of my eye, blending into the crease. I took an angled brush, using the purple eyeshadow making myself a flick from the top of the crease down on the bottom lash.
With the angled brush, I took the pink and place that on the bottom lash, directly under the pink on the top lash.

I then took a clean eyeshadow brush (Again another of the same from Avon) and picked up the white/silver colour in the palette, applying this to the inner corner of my eye, making sure to cover the empty top lid, where the tearduct is and the bottom lash.

I then used a black eyeshadow (from my beautyUK palette) with an angled brush (but you can use your favourite black liquid liner or gel liner) and lined my top lashes. I used a black eyeliner to line my waterline.

Add a ton of your favourite black mascara (I used Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara) or even add some big false lashes (I don't have any at the mo, boo!) to finish off the eyes. You could also go ahead and fill in your eyebrows too if you would like.

Apply your foundation (I used Bourjois healthy mix serum), conceal under your eyes (I just use a benefit foundation stick because I like the coverage and apply it with my ring fingers) and on any other blemishes that need a cover (I usually conceal on the top of my nose and on my nostrils, plus on any red patches and cheeky spots)

Apply a nice light pink blush to the cheeks (I'm using the light pink from my Blink+Go Palette)

Apply some lipgloss (I'm using Cargo Lipgloss in Paris, from my glossybox), I think a pinky colour would be perfect with this look.

Use a bit of powder to stop any shine and to seal in your foundation (I used MAC Studio Fix)

And tadahh, here is the finish look:

I really hope you enjoyed this, and I'm hoping to make a lot more of these in the near future!
